Papers [photocopies], 1915.

The group of papers (all photocopies) includes an auction catalog from a sale of George Rudkins silver collection; a list of items unclaimed by purchasers in that sale; a typed list of books; a list of book purchases (the original was kept in an address book); and a list of purchases of silver and art objects (the original was in a blank book with numbered pages). The auction was held by the American Art Galleries in New York in November 1915, and included art objects in addition to the silver. The catalog has been annotated with prices and names of purchasers. The pages which listed items 176-193 are missing. The list of unclaimed items is accompanied by copies of the bills sent to the purchasers for those items. Most of Rudkins books were about history or decorative arts. Some of the pages from the volume recording purchases are missing. The first pages are not dated, but later pages are dated 1918-1920. Some items were marked as having been sold.
